Rocket Science, That's Just Our Hobby!

The MaxPatrol team is dedicated to keeping the MaxPatrol Database as comprehensive and up to date, if not more so, than any available.   All reporting sites are checked and the database is updated and available to MaxPatrol users every couple of days through the online update system.

MaxPatrol utilizes intelligent algorithms to also detect unpublished vulnerabilities and add them to the database on the fly.  If vulnerabilities exist that are based on know vulnerabilities or are discovered by MaxPatrol automatically, they are still tested but are considered Ignored Vulnerabilities since there is no need to add them to the database, MaxPatrol already finds them.

When MaxPatrol opens, the About Box will display the number of vulnerabilities in the database, this number is much lower than the actual number of tests done on any service since the algorithms take the know vulnerability and ignored vulnerability database into account.  The actual number of checks is substantially higher than the number of tests in the database.
